Abstract: Laryngeal Mask Airway excellent device to maintain airway in selected surgeries and obviates the need for endotracheal intubation considering the advantages of LMA over face mask and endotracheal intubation, the study had been taken up with an idea to compare the condition for LMA insertion, by most widely used intravenous inducing agent (Propofol) and volatile anaesthetic (Sevoflurane). Sevoflurane may be a useful alternative to propofol in providing anaesthesia to aid LMA insertion.
