Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) is a transformative force in medicine, especially in anesthesia. This review highlights AI's innovative applications that improve patient safety, streamline medication delivery, and enhance clinical decision-making. By leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms, AI supports real-time monitoring, enabling the early identification of complications and accurate forecasting of patient outcomes. This functionality allows for a customized approach to anesthesia management, tailoring interventions to each patient’s specific needs. However, the incorporation of AI into clinical practice presents significant ethical challenges, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the need for transparency in AI-driven decisions. Anesthesiologists encounter obstacles in integrating these innovations into existing workflows and training programs, underscoring the necessity for a cultural shift within healthcare. Looking forward, this review emphasizes the significance of interdisciplinary collaboration among anesthesiologists, data scientists, and ethicists. Ongoing education and proactive adaptation are vital for harnessing AI’s potential while prioritizing patient welfare and care quality. By embracing these advancements, the medical community can transform anesthesia practice, fostering a safer and more efficient healthcare system. Ultimately, this evolution promises to enhance patient outcomes and redefine the standard of care in anesthesia and beyond. This review ensures that AI integration in anesthesia is ethical and advantageous, placing patient safety and care quality at the forefront.
