Abstract: The literature review is devoted to the analysis of the applied anesthesia techniques in ophthalmic surgical interventions in children from the point of view of the drugs used and the methods of anesthesia. In the preparation of the material, the databases Cyberleninka, PubMed, Medline were used with targeted searches based on the keywords: propofol, sevoflurane, paracetamol, regional anesthesia, ophthalmology, children. The depth of search by the date of publication of works was not limited, the emphasis was on publications of the last 10 years.
